Welcome to RTM Kayak and Canoe website! For 30 years, in the manufacturing of PE kayaks and canoes has given to RTM the know how for designing and producing excellent quality craft and a unique position in the kayak industry.
In 1993, RTM introduced the first sit on top kayaks to the European market. With this debut the world of kayaking was opened to a greater magnitude of people.

Innovation, technology & performance
The rotomolding process that RTM uses allows us to manufacture lightweight and durable craft in a variety of colors and models. In specific models we manufacture using a 3-layer “sandwich” technology which adds rigidity and buoyancy. RTM kayaks and canoes are produced from PEHD, this is the best material for making boats that are durable, repairable and recyclable. We blend UV inhibitors in which promotes richness in color and extends the life of the boat
By keeping pace with the latest plastics technology we can, with confidence, manufacture the best designed craft of the highest possible quality. Our RTM design and production team are always looking for new technologies that will help us produce the best quality boats economically. RTM can produce more than 10,000 kayaks and canoes per year. Our production facilities currently have the best in rotomolding machines: HVS Canadian “shuttle” 7.00m x 2.40m, SAT Rock & Roll oven for kayaks 6.00m x 1.60m ,Carrousel SAT 4.50m x 3.00m for kayaks and spare parts and SAT round about and a Catia 3.00 m Carrousel for accessories. In the future, RTM will add a SAT round about and a SAT kayak 6.00m x 1.60m
For 2009, RTM’s design team in collaboration with the RTM production, technology and sales staff have scrutinized every aspect to deliver the best in ergonomic and efficient design. RTM molds in all of our fittings, eliminating leakage; scupper holes are recessed to prevent cracking; add that to one of our most recent innovations, the Paseo with a built in “RTM roller”, and you can see that RTM is determined in making the very best in kayaks and canoes.
Technology and machinery are only part of the equation. RTM kayaks and canoes must meet stringent controls and standards and are tested to assure high quality.
